What your consent covers
By checking the electronic-signature consent on the authorization form, you agree that we may provide the following to you electronically instead of on paper:
- Your authorization agreement appointing DigitX LLC, doing business as GetMyTaxCut as your grievance representative, and the Terms of Service it incorporates.
- Legally required disclosures, including our Privacy Policy and Disclosures.
- Records and notices about your grievance matter — filings, settlement offers, outcomes, and invoices.
You also agree that your electronic signature — the name you type plus the signature you draw on the signing screen — is your legal signature, with the same effect as ink on paper.
How your signature is recorded
When you sign, we record your typed name, your drawn signature image, each consent you checked, the exact version of the terms displayed to you, and the date, time, IP address, and browser identifier of the signing session. This record is stored with your authorization so the signature can be verified later.
Your right to paper copies
You may request a paper copy of your signed authorization or any record we provided electronically, free of charge, by emailing [email protected] with your name and property address. Requesting a paper copy does not withdraw your consent to electronic records.
Withdrawing your consent
You may withdraw your consent to electronic records at any time by emailing [email protected]. Withdrawal takes effect after we have had a reasonable time to process it. Because our signup is electronic, withdrawing consent before signing means we cannot complete an electronic authorization for you — contact us to arrange paper signing. Withdrawing consent after signing does not invalidate the authorization you already signed electronically; it means we will provide subsequent records on paper.
Hardware and software you need
- A device with a current version of a modern web browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox).
- An internet connection and a valid email address you check.
- Software able to view and save PDF files (for your authorization and filing documents).
- The ability to print or save pages if you want your own copies.
If these requirements change in a way that creates a material risk you cannot access your records, we will notify you at the email address on file.
Keeping your contact information current
Electronic records are delivered to the email address (and, if you consented to SMS, the phone number) you provide. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if either changes so you do not miss notices about your grievance.
